For Unto Us...A Charity Kit

We all go through rough patches in our lives. And as we go through these hardships, we lean on each other and our faith to comfort us. Tragedy has recently befallen one of our own. Megan, the master behind the templates of Racketty Scrappety was, until recently pregnant with her third and fourth children. Nearly three weeks ago, 28 weeks pregnant, her water broke and had an emergency c-section to deliver her babies. Both of which were born without heartbeats. While the doctors were able to resuscitate one of her sons, the other, Baby Dex, didn't make it.
There were a number of complications, none of which caused any of the others. As Megan learned after the fact, her water breaking was the best thing that could have happened and was what allowed Baby Crew to be born fast enough to save his life. Megan has been generous enough to allow us all to share this time with her. You can read more about this amazing Mother and Son duo at Crew's Journey.
Crew is currently in the NICU and riding the "roller coaster" that accompanies this. We, over at Plain Digital Wrapper along with a few other great designers have joined together to make this beautiful kit dedicated to Crew.
Included in this kit are over 50 papers, over 150 elements, 2 alphas, $10 worth of gift certificates from various designers, over 50 of the templates from Racketty Scrappety herself, and a free gift with purchase! All proceeds will go towards Crew's mounting medical costs and other expenses for this family. It is called "For Unto Us..." and embodies the true spirit of Christmas. Get this kit HERE to help out for this cause.

A special thank you to Betsy Tuma, Athena of Studio Incognito, TammyKat Designs, Shawnery Mathis, Kristen Aagard, Amy Sumral, Brandi White, Tracy King, Elain Bittencourt, Julie It Is, Clever Crow, Gypsy Couture, Tammy Moore, Lisa Hanks of Southern Creek Designs, and Courtney Wilson of Skittles and Scraps for all of your help in putting this kit together for Megan, Crew and their family.
This is used by permission of Courtney Wilson. Please go to Courtney's blog, "Skittles and Scraps" to get the special freebie. This link will only be good for 48 hours.

Something for you

I'm having a great time as CT to the PDW designers. What a talented group of ladies!

One of the PDW Designers, Kiki Halbert, has a page kit at PDW called "It's a Classic". I love black and white and silver so this page kit was perfect for getting me in a creative mood.

And Kiki has so graciously allowed me to give this "It's a Classic" Quick Page #1 to you.

The only restriction is that I must take down the link in 2 days. So, if you want this quick page, grab it now because the link will come down on Monday. Also, if you want your friends to get it, please send them here to pick it up. Don't share the links with them or on any yahoo group.

Sorry, link has expired.

What a ride!!!

I really had a great time as a designer for Snaps2Scrap; but alas!!! People don't seem to want heritage designs/kits. Snaps2Scrap will close on Nov. 30 and if you want anything there, go now!!! Big discounts for you to snap up.

But, as the saying goes, when a door shuts a window opens, so now I'm on the PlainDigitalWrapper (PDW) CT. I'm not designing (but I hope I can get back into designing some day); but I am having fun with all the wonderful designer kits at PDW.

In the next couple of days, I'll be puttin up some quick pages from the designers at PDW. They design the kits, I create the quick pages. If you don't know, a quick page is just a page that's already been created and all you have to do is put your photo in it, and do a bit of journaling. It's a great way to get you layouts done with little effort and time.

Some of the designers at PDW have graciously said that the CT can create the Quick Pages and give them to you; but they can only be available for 48 hours. So, if you are interested, come and get the Quick Pages before the time runs out.

I'll post a picture of the quick page and the link later. Hope to see you then!
